Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2020, Slovakia's population change increased by 10.2% compared to 2019, reaching 10.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.6.

Slovakia ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.1% (from 9.9 in 2015).
