Employment rates by citizenship

In 2024, Slovakia's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.3% compared to 2023, reaching 76.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 75.3%.

Slovakia ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.8% (from 74.4% in 2019).
