Employment rates by citizenship

In 2024, Hungary's employment rates by citizenship decreased by 0.6% compared to 2023, reaching 78.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 75.3%.

Hungary ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.5% (from 77.5% in 2019).
