Employment rates by citizenship

In 2025, Slovakia's employment rates by citizenship decreased by 0.3% compared to 2024, reaching 76.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 75.4%.

Slovakia ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.1% (from 73.3% in 2020).
