Fertility indicators

In 1973, Slovakia's fertility indicators increased by 2.8% compared to 1972, reaching 2.56.

Slovakia ranks 4th out of 18 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.1% (from 2.39 in 1968).
