Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1980, Slovakia's life expectancy by age and sex decreased by 0.6% compared to 1979, reaching 70.4.

Slovakia ranks 14th out of 17 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.1% (from 70.3 in 1975).
