Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1981, Slovakia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.4% compared to 1980, reaching 70.7.

Slovakia ranks 13th out of 17 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.3% (from 70.5 in 1976).
