Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1982, Slovakia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.3% compared to 1981, reaching 70.9.

Slovakia ranks 13th out of 17 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.7% (from 70.4 in 1977).
