Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1992, Slovakia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 1991, reaching 71.5.

Slovakia ranks 16th out of 22 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.3% (from 71.3 in 1987).
