Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1976, Slovakia's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.1% compared to 1975, reaching 74.1.

Slovakia ranks 11th out of 15 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.1% (from 73.3 in 1971).
