Population structure indicators at national level

In 2005, Slovakia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.1% compared to 2004, reaching 35.4.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.6.

Slovakia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.4% (from 33.9 in 2000).
