Population on 1 January by age group and sex

In 1990, Slovakia's population on 1 january by age group and sex increased by 4.1% compared to 1989, reaching 106,622.

Slovakia ranks 17th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.2% (from 89,449 in 1985).
