Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2023, Slovakia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 4.9% compared to 2022, reaching 5.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.1%.

Slovakia ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.8% (from 6.5% in 2018).
