Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2023, Hungary's unemployment by sex and age increased by 13.9% compared to 2022, reaching 4.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.1%.

Hungary ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.9% (from 3.6% in 2018).
