Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2024, Slovakia's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 8.6% compared to 2023, reaching 5.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 5.9%.

Slovakia ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 7.0% (from 5.7% in 2019).
