Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2020, Slovakia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 19.3% compared to 2019, reaching 20.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.6%.

Slovakia ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 26.4% (from 27.7% in 2015).
