Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Slovakia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 1.0% compared to 2020, reaching 20.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Slovakia ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 12.0% (from 23.4% in 2016).
