Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2021, Czechia's unemployment by sex and age increased by 2.5% compared to 2020, reaching 8.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.7%.

Czechia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 21.9% (from 10.5% in 2016).
