Employment rates by citizenship

In 2025, Slovenia's employment rates by citizenship increased by 0.6% compared to 2024, reaching 70.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 66.6%.

Slovenia ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.8% (from 67.8% in 2020).
