Persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex

In 2024, Slovenia's persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex increased by 5.1% compared to 2023, reaching 14.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.0%.

Slovenia ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.1% (from 13.7% in 2019).
