Persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex

In 2025, Slovenia's persons at risk of poverty or social exclusion by age and sex increased by 7.6% compared to 2024, reaching 15.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 20.9%.

Slovenia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.4% (from 14.3% in 2020).
