At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.6% compared to 2024, reaching 19.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Latvia ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.5% (from 19.1% in 2020).
