At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2025, Estonia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 2024, reaching 17.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.5%.

Estonia ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 6.3% (from 18.9% in 2020).
