Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2017, Spain's population change increased by 3.4% compared to 2016, reaching 9.1.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.5.

Spain ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.8% (from 8.6 in 2012).
