Population structure indicators at national level

In 2019, Spain's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.0% compared to 2018, reaching 31.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 34.1.

Spain ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.2% (from 29.2 in 2014).
