Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2022, Spain's main indicators increased by 6.3% compared to 2021, reaching 21.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 23.0%.

Spain ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 27.6% (from 17.1% in 2017).
