In 2020, Spain's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 1.6% compared to 2019, reaching 133,704.

Spain ranks 3rd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 16.0% (from 159,178 in 2015).
