Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2020, Spain's unemployment by sex and age increased by 17.8% compared to 2019, reaching 38.3%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.6%.

Spain ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 20.7% (from 48.3% in 2015).
