At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2015, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.5% compared to 2014, reaching 16.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.4%.

Sweden ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.1% (from 14.8% in 2010).
