At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2016, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.6% compared to 2015, reaching 16.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.5%.

Sweden ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.2% (from 15.4% in 2011).
