In 2014, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 2.5% compared to 2013, reaching 15.6%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.3%.
Sweden ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.3% (from 14.4% in 2009).
