At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2020, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.4% compared to 2019, reaching 17.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.5%.

Sweden ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.6% (from 17.3% in 2015).
