Fertility indicators

In 1982, Sweden's fertility indicators decreased by 0.6% compared to 1981, reaching 1.62.

Sweden ranks 16th out of 21 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 1.2% (from 1.64 in 1977).
