Population structure indicators at national level

In 2023, Sweden's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.6% compared to 2022, reaching 36.1.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 36.4.

Sweden ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.0% (from 34.7 in 2018).
