Population structure indicators at national level

In 2024, Sweden's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.1% compared to 2023, reaching 36.5.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 37.0.

Sweden ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.3% (from 35.0 in 2019).
