Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2021, Sweden's employment rates by educational attainment level decreased by 0.3% compared to 2020, reaching 89.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 86.5%.

Sweden ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.6% (from 89.5% in 2016).
