Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2021, Bulgaria's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 1.4% compared to 2020, reaching 89.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 86.5%.

Bulgaria ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.7% (from 85.1% in 2016).
