In 2020, Sweden's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 7.5% compared to 2019, reaching 81,140.

Sweden ranks 4th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 9.9% (from 90,059 in 2015).
