In 2018, Sweden's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 13.4% compared to 2017, reaching 77,914.

Sweden ranks 4th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 8.8% (from 85,453 in 2013).
