In 2021, Sweden's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 10.0% compared to 2020, reaching 73,016.

Sweden ranks 5th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 18.0% (from 89,055 in 2016).
