Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2014, Sweden's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 1.2% compared to 2013, reaching 8.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 11.0%.

Sweden ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.9% (from 8.5% in 2009).
