Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2020, Sweden's unemployment by sex and age increased by 22.3% compared to 2019, reaching 23.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 17.6%.

Sweden ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 19.8% (from 19.7% in 2015).
