Population structure indicators at national level

In 2009, Austria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.4% compared to 2008, reaching 28.3.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 28.4.

Austria ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.7% (from 24.9 in 2004).
