Population structure indicators at national level

In 2009, Hungary's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.2% compared to 2008, reaching 26.1.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 28.4.

Hungary ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.8% (from 24.9 in 2004).
