Population structure indicators at national level

In 2009, Germany's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.5% compared to 2008, reaching 33.7.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 28.4.

Germany ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 15.0% (from 29.3 in 2004).
