Population structure indicators at national level

In 2021, Austria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.0% compared to 2020, reaching 31.2.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 35.4.

Austria ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.7% (from 29.8 in 2016).
