Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2009, Austria's main indicators increased by 4.2% compared to 2008, reaching 68.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

Austria ranks 1st out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.4% (from 61.6% in 2004).
