Population structure indicators at national level

In 2021, Netherlands's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.8% compared to 2020, reaching 33.7.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 35.4.

Netherlands ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 10.1% (from 30.6 in 2016).
