Population structure indicators at national level

In 2021, Germany's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.4% compared to 2020, reaching 36.9.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 35.4.

Germany ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.3% (from 34.7 in 2016).
