Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2017, Belgium's main indicators increased by 10.1% compared to 2016, reaching 6.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 7.5%.

Belgium ranks 13th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 35.1% (from 4.9% in 2012).
